You don't have to stay stuck in the weight of loss. I offer gentle, one-to-one grief recovery and hypnotherapy — helping you release what you've been carrying and begin to feel whole again.
"Grief asks nothing of you except that you let yourself feel it. My work is simply to walk beside you, gently, until you find the light again."
About Me
I know what it feels like to carry grief that the world doesn't quite understand — the kind that settles into your bones and changes the colour of ordinary days.
That's why I trained as a Grief Recovery Specialist and hypnotherapist. I wanted to offer the kind of safe, unhurried space I once needed myself.
At The Peaceful Way, I work one-to-one with people who are ready to gently set down what they've been carrying — and find their way back to themselves.
All types of loss are welcome here. There is no hierarchy of grief, and no rush.

Client Stories
Every person's grief is unique. These are just a few of the journeys I've been honoured to walk alongside.
"I didn't think I'd ever feel like myself again after losing my mum. The work we did together has been the most healing thing I've ever experienced. I feel like I can breathe again."
"I've had the opportunity to have two hypnosis sessions with Nicola, one was online and the other in a live group session at a retreat. Both times Nicola put me at ease and allowed me to let go of some problems that I'd been holding on to for a very long time. I highly recommend Nicola to help you in whatever is troubling you."
Understanding Grief
We are rarely taught how to grieve — and we're even less often taught that grief extends far beyond bereavement. Grief is the natural, human response to any significant loss.
If you have experienced any kind of loss and are struggling, your feelings are completely valid. There is no expiry date on grief, and no such thing as "getting over it" too slowly.
At The Peaceful Way, all losses are welcome. There is no hierarchy here.

Questions
The programme typically runs over 7–8 sessions, usually held weekly. Each session is around 60 minutes. All sessions are available online via video call, so you can access support from wherever you are in the UK.
Not at all. Grief has no expiry date. Many of my clients come to me with losses that happened years — even decades — ago that they've never fully processed. It's never too late to begin finding peace.
Many clients arrive sceptically and still find the experience deeply meaningful. Whether you view what unfolds as literal insight or as symbolic inner exploration, the healing can be very real. There's no wrong way to experience it.
Grief recovery is an action-based programme rather than open-ended talking therapy. It uses a structured, evidence-based method to help you complete the unfinished emotional business of loss. Many people find it more practical and purposeful than traditional counselling.
That's exactly what the free 30-minute consultation is for. No pressure, no commitment — just a warm, gentle conversation. You'll get a feel for how I work and we can decide together if it feels right.
